These 73 men and women have served the Savannah community as patrol officers, investigators, special operations personnel and more.
The Assistant Chief Julie Tolbert and Audrey Scott are celebrating their 35th year with the department. Three more individuals are celebrating their 30th year, and others are celebrating 25 years.
"The reason I have stayed with this agency for so many years if because, for me, it's always been about providing a service to this community,” said Assistant Chief Tolbert.
"I love my co-workers. It's probably one of the other reasons why I stayed here for 20 years. Being around these other department members is real special,” said Sgt. Eric Dukarski, celebrating 20 years with SCMPD.
These men and women were honored by the mayor and chief of police for their dedication to the community.
