Girl Scouts to host national festival in Savannah

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

The Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia making a major announcement.

Coming in 2017, "Quest-Fest”, a three day festival where Girl Scouts from all over will come together to solve clues and more.

Savannah, the home of the organization, will host events like a walk and concert.

Friday, the countdown begins with a "Mini-Quest" at the Lucas Theatre. Girl Scouts will gather to compete in a scavenger hunt and view the “Wizard of Oz”.

The scavenger hunt begins at 6:30 p.m. and the movie will begin at 8 p.m.

The movie is open to the public and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Girl Scouts. Tickets are $11 and may be purchased online, here, or at the box office in person on the day of the show.
