This year, Ambucs is celebrating 75 years helping special needs children and adults across the country in Savannah.
Something unique to the Ambucs chapter is bowling, so for the fifth year, they’re having Bowlapalooza.
Bowlapalooza is a kick-off event that has delicious appetizers and live silent auctions to raise awareness and money for the big bowling party in October.
There’s close to 20 teams this year and they are out there spreading the word and joy of what Ambucs does for our children and adults.
The specially fitted trykes are not free but the freedom they give to the recipients is priceless. It also gives back a little freedom to the parents. This gives their loved one's mobility, confidence, and quality of life.
The event is happening on Thursday night and at the end, they will be giving away a bike to a family in need.
