SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Savannah's newest business opened its doors Thursday.
Step inside Bluemercury and you can shop for all kinds of beauty projects.
The chain's 100th store had its grand opening on West Broughton Street with the help of Mayor Eddie Deloach and dozens of local business owners.
The Bluemercury founders said they are happy to open their newest store in Savannah.
"It's just an amazing, charming town and it's also so vibrant, it almost has a New York feel with the funky aspect of SCAD being right here on the street, and so it's really an amazing mix of both southern charm and sort of uptown funk," Bluemercury founder Barry Beck.
Twenty percent of Thursday's purchases will benefit the Historic Savannah Foundation.
Bluemercury is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 12 to 6 p.m.
