SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

The Savannah Impact Program needs your help to make sure students in need go back to school prepared.

SIP is asking for donations of school supplies, uniforms and non-perishable food for the annual Stuff the Container event.

SIP staff members have placed a Go Mini container outside their office on Drayton Street. Their goal is to fill that container to capacity with donated items.

They are accepting donations through July 31. The donations will then be distributed to families in need on August 2 during National Night Out.
