LADY'S ISLAND, SC (WTOC) -

The Lady's Island/ St. Helena Fire District responded to a structure fire at a residence on Ru De Bois Drive around 11:30 p.m. Saturday. This was the second time in the past two weeks they battled a fire at that location on Lady's Island.

Neighbors reportedly called 911 after seeing flames coming from the double-wide mobile home. Upon arrival, firefighters say almost 40 percent of the home was engulfed in flames.

Crews quickly attacked the fire from the outside as another team prepared to enter the home to conduct a search to see if anyone was inside.

The home was vacant, and this is the second fire to occur at this location in two weeks. The first fire happened at this home on July 26th.

No injuries were reported, but extensive damage to the home occurred from the fire and smoke.

Fire Scene Investigation (FSI) team also responded to the scene.

Both of the fires at this home on Ru De Bois Drive remain under investigation.
