Third Infantry Soldier Dies in IED Blast

The war in Iraq claimed another Third Infantry Division soldier this week. Insurgents detonated an improvised explosive device near Spc. Gary Walter's Humvee Sunday. The 31-year-old died in the blast. He's originally from Victoria, Texas.

Other troops are on their way home. Four thousand members of the 48th Brigade of the Georgia Army National Guard have finished their training at Fort Irwin, California and now they're on their way to Hunter Army Airfield.

They'll head to Iraq next month.
