SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

The Savannah-Chatham Metro Police Department have arrested and charged 22-year-old Brandon Fuller with murder after Friday's deadly shooting at The One Stop Shop on Montgomery Street.

Police arrived on scene around 11:30 p.m. to find 29-year-old Daniel Landy suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to Memorial in critical condition, where he later died.

Officials say the crime scene spans at least two locations. Nearby businesses and streets were shut down while police investigated the shooting.

Detectives have determined Landy and Fuller knew each other. They say Landy reportedly had a relationship with Fuller's ex-girlfriend. A verbal altercation ensued between the two, and that's when the victim was shot.

Detectives say they are no longer looking for 28-year-old Javaris Smith, who was wanted for questioning in reference to this homicide.

Anyone with knowledge of this incident or Smith's whereabouts, contact the SCMPD tip line by dialing 912.525.3124. You can also call Crimestoppers at 912.234.2020. Tipsters remain anonymous and may qualify for a cash reward.

This is an ongoing investigation.
