BRY2K Family Fun Day raises awareness for kidney disease in Port Wentworth

PORT WENTWORTH, GA (WTOC) -

The 2nd annual BRY2K Family Fun Day is being held in Port Wentworth on Saturday to bring awareness to chronic kidney disease.

Fundraiser activities will be held from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the Port Wentworth Festival Site, located on 317 Cantyre Street. The event includes a 2K Water walk/run, rides, ponies, food, water slides, soccer bubbles, bull riding, music and more.

The Woman-less Pageant will start at 3 p.m. WTOC's Jamie Ertle will be a judge at the event. Tickets are $10.

A raffle drawing will be held at 4 p.m.

This year's fundraiser will go to support a local child fighting kidney disease, as well as an auto-inflammatory condition. Portions of the proceeds will be donated to the Greenville Shriners Hospital.

Attendees are encouraged to bring school supplies or new toys to donate to the surgical kids at the Shriners hospital and receive a free BRY2K water bottle.
