A law Gov. Sonny Perdue signed will affect the look of some cars. He reinstated the ban on heavily tinted windows.
The Georgia Supreme Court threw out that ban last year because it only applied to Georgia drivers and not out-of-state drivers.
The new law applies to anyone driving in Georgia. It says you cannot tint the windshield or either of the front windows darker than 32 percent. If you do, police could charge you with a misdemeanor.
That law goes into affect immediately.
