SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Georgia's Red Cross has released the number of refugees who sought shelter during Hurricane Hermine in our area.

As of Saturday morning, they say more than 200 people sought refuge in 5 shelters since Thursday.

During their stay, more than 500 meals and snacks were served.

All residents have since returned home and Red Cross shelters are no longer needed.

Caseworkers will continue to work with those who have emergency needs as a result of the storm.
