SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - In Savannah, cadets, faculty and staff at Benedictine Military School remembered the fallen on Thursday morning.
A 9/11 remembrance ceremony was held for the nearly 3,000 people who died in that terror attack. Also for those who lost their lives fighting for this country.
"One of my good friend's dad is in one of these pictures and he died in a training accident. And, I never really knew. But, after today I know that we should be grateful for what we have and honor those who have fallen," said Cadet Col. Turner Chu, a student at BC.
There will be more 9/11 ceremonies across our area this weekend. You can look for them by clicking here.
