SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Living Independence for Everyone Incorporated and Armstrong State University hosted a monthly crime prevention meeting for people with disabilities.
They are taught tips on how to not become a victim and how to protect themselves.
"I think the hardest thing about it is identity theft because people use technology so readily now that you have to figure out what kind of techniques and what you can do to best protect yourself," said Living Independent Skills Training Coordinator Jessica Mathis.
