Shooting victim dies at hospital after being found inside wrecked car at Meding and 61st St.

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

The Savannah-Chatham Metro Police Department is investigating after a shooting victim was found inside a wrecked vehicle at Meding and 61st Street.

Around 7:30 p.m., Metro police responded to Meding and 61st streets after a vehicle driven by Shawn March, 41, crashed into an unoccupied residence. 

March was transported to the hospital, where he later died. 

Detectives are working to determine where the shooting occurred and the identities of any suspects. Circumstances leading up to this shooting remain under investigation.
