SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - The Savannah fire marshal position is ready to be filled after over 20 years.
This coming after Craig Landolt's sudden retirement announcement.
Landolt, citing a hostile work environment and poor management for his departure.
We spoke with him on the phone Friday, and he tells us during the time he's served, he's witnessed staffing and funding issues.
Landolt began working for the city in 1995.
In 2007, he was promoted to principal fire marshal.
