STATESBORO, GA (WTOC) - Biology professors and students at GSU have been studying the Ogeechee River and its habitat.
Georgia Southern's Department of Biology, Department of Geology and Geography, and the Phinizy Center for Water Sciences will be holding a public information session Tuesday to give an update on the Ogeechee River Project.
The research project was created to ensure a long-term and holistic approach to understanding Ogeechee River Basin.
The program will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Biological Sciences Building on Old Register Road, located on Georgia Southern's campus.
