Pilot Recklessness Blamed for Crash

Air Force officials have determined that last year's trainer jet crash in Savannah was caused by pilot recklessness.

Investigators concluded two instructor pilots were likely hung over from a night of heavy drinking with friends when their trainer jet crashed after just takeoff last April. Both men died.

While neither pilot was legally drunk at the time of the crash, Capt. Judson Brinson had as many as nine drinks and Capt. Thomas Lee Moore consumed as many as ten drinks the night before.
