Citizens, Community Leaders Discuss Crime Problems

How can we keep crime down? That was the question at last night's anti-crime meeting in Savannah. Dozens came together at the Holy Spirit Lutheran Church on 37th Street to talk about crime and how to stop it.

They shared ideas and listened to community leaders, including. Savannah-Chatham police chief Dan Flynn and Alderwoman Mary Osborne.

"The solution to crime does not rest with just the police or the government, but with everybody," said Osborne.

Osborne says she hopes meetings like this will help the community find solutions.
