You know what medicine costs these days, but some seniors are getting help paying the bills from an unlikely source.
The kids at Hubert and Port Wentworth Elementary Schools are joining forces. They're raising money to help older people with prescription costs.
It's not just a school project. For some, it's personal. "I feel good. I have an older grandma, and it's very hard to look at when you know she can't afford the medicine," explained seventh-grader Kendre Lomonte.
They raised more than $300.
