A routine traffic stop along Interstate 95 led to the seizure of 132 pounds of marijuana. It happened Wednesday evening near mile marker seven in Camden County.
A deputy spotted a pickup weaving in and out of traffic and pulled the driver over. A drug dog was called in and searched the vehicle. The deputies found two duffle bags in the bed of the truck, packed with more than 100 plastic bags of marijuana, ready for sale.
The driver, Derek Bomberry of Ontario, Canada, was arrested and charged with trafficking marijuana. Deputies say the drugs have a street value of more than $400,000.
