GEORGIA (WTOC) - Verizon Wireless has provided two mobile data/cellular charging stations in Chatham County. One is set up at the Savannah International Trade and Convention Center and another at the Pooler Verizon store at 184 Pooler Parkway.
The stations is easily identifiable as it is a large, trailer-sized vehicle. Free services offered at this station include making domestic phone calls, charging mobile devices such as tablets or laptops, and use of Wi-Fi for finding necessary information upon the post evacuation of Hurricane Matthew.
The station is not limited to Verizon customers. Everyone that has been impacted by Hurricane Matthew may utilize the services being offered. The public is invited to visit the mobile trailer stations at the Savannah International Trade and Convention Center and the Pooler Parkway Verizon store.
In addition to the Verizon trucks, there is also Duracell charging station outside the Publix at 12 Oaks Shopping Center on Abercorn Street.
