CHATHAM CO., GA (WTOC) - With all the kids out of school, many parents are looking for a place for their kids while they work.
Here's some good news. Area YMCA's hope to open up by Thursday to accommodate them. Workers are cleaning up debris and throwing away bad food at the West Broad YMCA.
They hope to have the child care services back open by Thursday. They're also working on setting up special holiday camps for the general public.
"That's what we're here for so that we can help keep our community strong. We want to give parents an opportunity to settle their stuff and make their phone calls without their children trying to find something to do," said West Broad YMCA Interim CEO Haley Hill.
If your kids want to participate in the camps, you just need to fill out a registration form before dropping them off.
