Many Savannah residents heading out to watch the debate together at a local movie theater.
Regal Stadium 10, behind the Savannah Mall, screened it for free. Many we caught up with say this setting helps them understand the opinions of their fellow voters.
"It's nice to know different points of views from different people,” said Jasmine and Josmar, two students at Armstrong State University. "And it gets intense sometimes. The last debate that we watched at Armstrong, we had some Trump supporters and some Clinton supporters so, and then some people who just didn't agree with any of the candidates."
Wednesday’s debate was screened at Regal Theater's all across the United States.
