SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Property damage isn't this only thing Hurricane Matthew brought with it.
Many employers and employees were left without incomes because of damaged businesses.
Now, three more counties have been added to the list of those eligible for what's called, Federal Disaster Unemployment Assistance to cover at least some of the wages they may have lost.
The added counties are Evan, Liberty and Long. Last week, the state labor commissioner announced that Bryan, Bulloch, Chatham, Effingham, Glynn, McIntosh and Wayne were also eligible.
As much as $330 a week is available, but you must first apply for regular unemployment insurance with the Georgia Department of Labor.
