School Evacuated After Bomb Threat

The school day at Bible Baptist ended early today when students and faculty were evacuated for a bomb scare. Today the building on Skidaway Road was cleared after someone called in the threat of a bomb. Bomb squads and emergency crews searched the building after everyone safely moved to a vacant lot down the street.

While no bomb was found, administrator Kathy Hodges says they need to be cautious. "We evacuated immediately, called police in. They had the bomb dogs search the building. We don't think anything is in there, but we are not going to take a chance."

This is the first evacuation of this kind for Bible Baptist.
