The Micro Society's 6th and 7th graders exercising their right to vote in the cafeteria. Ballots were cast electronically, with voters getting a sticker afterward.

Swamtropolis was created last year and it consists of things you'd find in any other city.

"If you don't have the right to vote, you're probably going to have the wrong person to be mayor or president,” said Antwan Wesby, a student at Myers Middle.

School officials tell us what they want students to take away from this is knowing the importance of their vote.
