Fans Pack Noon Matinee for "Star Wars"

Are you a little bleary eyed today? Sleepy from "the Sith?" Millions of people are. They stayed out late last night and are lining up again today to see the latest Star Wars episode, Revenge of the Sith.

The Force drew people back to theaters hours before the noon show, the first matinee of the day at Carmike Wynnsong on Shawnee Street in Savannah. Some people who were outside the theater this morning said they camped out all night just for the noon matinee to avoid the huge crowds at midnight.

And they say, even though they didn't see the movie last night, the crowds provided quite a show. "It was packed and there was nothing but people, I mean I saw more light sabers then I saw dresses," said Jeremy Norton of Savannah.

The weekend shows at both the Carmike theater on Shawnee Street and on Stephenson are not sold out. But tickets are going very fast.
