SCMPD searching for car possibly linked to Nov. 10 homicide

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

The Savannah-Chatham Metro Police Department is trying to locate a car possibly linked to a Nov. 10 homicide near Betty Drive and Rivera Drive, which claimed the life of 21-year-old Cequan Borrum.

Investigators obtained surveillance footage of the vehicle fleeing west on Iris Street seconds after the fatal shooting.

At about 5:50 p.m. Metro responded to the 2400 block of Riviera Drive, finding Borrum with a gunshot wound. Borrum was transported by ambulance to Memorial University Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.

The circumstances surrounding this homicide remain under investigation.
