HINESVILLE, GA (WTOC) - Clyde's Market donating some proceeds from its annual charity golf tournament back in the spring. They gave $20,000 to Fort Stewart's Survivor Outreach program.
It helps family members of fallen soldiers.
Clyde's started the tournament 17 years ago and gives to a range of causes, especially the military.
"With the military being such a big part of the community and a big part of our business with so many stores in Hinesville, it seemed like the right thing to do," said Greg Woolard, with Clyde's Market.
This donation marks the 12th year Clyde's tournament has helped Fort Stewart military families.
