Tomorrow, federal commissioners will be visiting two of four Georgia bases that are on the Pentagon's list for closure. The Defense Base Closure and Realignment Commission BRAC team is going to the Naval Air Station in Marietta and Naval Supply Corps School in Athens.
They're on the base closure list, along with Fort McPherson and Fort Gillem around Atlanta.
Commissioners visit every base on the list and hear from supporters before a final decision. That's due in November.
We'll keep you posted on the process.
