Sentence in Restaurant Murder

The man who was found guilty for killing a restaurant manager will be sentenced today. Derek Horne, 19, was found guilty of the murder of 25-year-old Sean Abraham. Testimony showed Abraham and another man were leaving the Church's Chicken restaurant about 5:30am the morning of February 7, 2004, when two masked gunmen forced them back inside intending to rob them.

An alarm went off and the two victims ran in separate directions. Witnesses said Abraham was chased by Horne and shot in the head as he begged for his life.

Horne will be sentenced today at 2pm and faces upwards of three life sentences.

The other man charged with robbing and killing Sean Abraham--Charles Hill--is scheduled to go to trial this summer.
