SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Chatham County District Attorney Meg Heap is seeking the death penalty for four accused gang members indicted for the murder of 24-year-old Dominique Powell.

Arthur Newton, Artez Strain, Timothy Coleman and Tyriek Walker were arrested in November and each was indicted on a number of charges, including the murder of Powell.

According to the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police, all four men are members of the Bloods, an infamous street gang with roots in California.

Police say the four men are responsible for the September shooting death of Powell in the Tatemville neighborhood.
