A $1,000 reward is now being offered after a stabbing at a downtown Savannah business last week.
The owner of Red Light Smoke Shop says the man in these pictures and surveillance video stabbed one of his employees Thursday night.
He tells us the suspect came into the store, shopped around, had a “casual conversation” with the worker and then stabbed him at the register.
"It might make a little more sense if something was taken. If there was a clear motive, but this is as close to random violence as it gets. Nothing was stolen. No merchandise, no money. There were no words said between the attacker and the victim that would indicate any sort of conflict. It was a random stabbing,” said Red Light Tobacco owner Brian Kelly.
Kelly tells us he's since enhanced security and lighting outside of the shop. He says the victim is still shaken but will make a full recovery.
