13 Hours: The Inside Account of What Really Happened in Benghazi.

You may have heard of this book or even read it yourself. Tuesday, co-author Mark "Oz" Geist stopped by Savannah Christian Prep to share his experience.

Geist is a Marine Corps veteran and a member of the Benghazi Annex Security Team. In the book, he writes about how he made it through a battle which saved so many lives during those 13 hours in September of 2012.

"This is a story that's for everybody. It's not about the politics. Everybody's heard enough about that. What this is is a story about doing the right thing at the right time in your life and making a difference in other people's lives,” said Geist.

Geist himself is credited with helping to save the lives of more than 25 Americans.

His visit Tuesday was provided by Daniel Defense.
