SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Even if you didn't see Sister Pat Baber Thursday night, you probably heard her in front of St. Mary's Community Center on Savannah's west side.
Sister Pat was so excited as she welcomed some of Santa's special helpers. Members of the Low Country Mud Rats, a Jeep club, rolled in carrying tons of toys for the good little girls and boys in the Cuyler- Brownsville neighborhood.
"These guys are great! It's cold outside they look at their jeeps toys to make people happy. It's just one of the things we do," said Dave Goodell, with the Low Country Mud Rats.
"We all know that there's so much negativity in the world here in like in places like Aleppo. We can begin to be evil is ever present, but you open it is not evil goodness. It's God's love and care to each and every one of you," said Sister Pat.
The group has been donating toys for the last two years, but it's the first time they've donated to St. Mary's.
