New AASU Program to Fill Healthcare Need

Looking for a new career? Some allied health professionals are needed pronto. Hospitals and medical offices are desperate for radiologic technologists. This critical shortage has prompted Armstrong Atlantic State University to offer new programs, among them ultrasound and nuclear medicine technologists.

"I think that's excellent because the hospitals here and the radiology associates here definitely need the help," said student Alena Carden.

The radiologic science degree is a two-year program.
