Enmarket donates money to Savannah-area non-profits

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Enmarket is donating $5,000 to Savannah-area nonprofits through its 2016 Encourage Health Series.

The Coastal Georgia Council of Boy Scouts of America, Savannah AMBUCS, Savannah Tree Foundation and Urban Hope, Inc. each received $1,000.

"We decided who would get these grants because all four of these nonprofits align with our mission statement. They enrich life. And they encourage health in their own ways throughout our community," said Enmarket Marketing Coordinator Bess Butler.

This is not the first year for the Encourage Health Education Series and it's definitely not the last. Enmarket says information about the 2017 program will be announced soon.
