Development Could Double Hardeeville's Size

It's the kind of problem many areas wish they had. Can you imagine your town doubling its size? It could happen in the Low Country.

Hardeeville City Council is considering a major development plan for 5,000 acres known as the Argent West Tract. It's located behind the Coastal Carolina Hospital off of Highway 278.

If approved, the plan would call for some 9,500 homes, commercial property, parks, schools and emergency facilities to be built.

You can see for yourself and give your input at a public hearing tonight at 6:30pm.
