A suspected methamphetamine manufacturer is off the streets. Effingham County deputies teaming with special operations and criminal investigators busted a meth lab in Springfield yesterday, arresting Watson Bevill III in the process.
Officers went to Bevill's home on Sister Ferry Road to execute a search warrant. During the search, they found a meth lab buried behind a shed, a fake can of hairspray containing ingredients to make methamphetamine, a loaded rifle with a scope and a shotgun.
Bevill is in the Effingham County jail facing several charges.
