SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

We are just over two weeks away from St. Patrick's Day in Savannah!

Besides the parade, another highly anticipated event is the Fire Ball. The Savannah Professional Firefighters Association hosts the annual ball Saturday, March 18.

The public is invited out to the Ships of the Sea Maritime Museum to meet local, regional and even international firefighters. With the purchase of a ticket, guests can enjoy an open bar, appetizers, live music and a silent auction.

"All the proceeds benefit the Fallen Firefighters Fund. So with the fallen firefighters’ fund, it allows the union to send family members that have unfortunately lost a loved one to Colorado Springs for the memorial out there,” said Love Actually Wedding & Events owner, Jennifer Hinton.

The rest of the proceeds from the Fire Ball benefits Paws for a Cause. For more information on how to get a ticket, please click here.
