Two new k9's hit the streets in Bluffton

BLUFFTON, SC (WTOC) - WTOC got the chance to meet Bluffton's newest police officers.

For the last four weeks, Hunden and Teeko have been tirelessly training in North Carolina with their handlers. Both are now officially on patrol!

"I'm extremely excited to have these dogs because I know what they're capable of doing. I know it's another tool for the Bluffton Police Department, for us to provide great services to our community," said Bluffton Police Department Lt. Joe Babkiewicz.

Hunden and Teeko are trained in narcotic detection, suspect tracking, apprehension and building searches.
