A man is behind bars charged with eight felonies, thanks to some real teamwork. Savannah-Chatham police stopped Cyrus McKinley on Saturday because a lookout was posted on McKinley and the SUV he was driving.
A man who had his credit car stolen on Isle of Hope called detectives last week, saying a man was trying to use the card. The detective talked to a store owner who described McKinley and his vehicle. The store owner refused the credit card.
The cooperation led to McKinley's arrest. He is in the Chatham County jail charged with breaking into eight cars, driving with an open container and without a driver's license.
