BEAUFORT, SC (WTOC) - Hundreds of people are signing up for the annual Beaufort Twilight Run.
The unique evening race raises money for Riverview Charter School, the only one of its kind in Beaufort. Last year, there were over one thousand runners.
This year, they are expecting their biggest turnout yet and that is good news for Riverview students.
"Riverview is a charter school and is supported by public dollars. To make your school great, you need additional funds to add to the programs and give the kids a great, well-rounded experience," said Beaufort Twilight Run Race Director Jeff Althoff.
Race registration starts at 2 p.m. with the main race at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
