BLUFFTON, SC (WTOC) -

Bluffton is going to Hollywood! You may have noticed streets are already closed in the downtown area as a production company sets up for a concert event that will be featured in a television show.

Film crews are already setting up on Calhoun Street in Old Town Bluffton, and Bluffton Police are closing the roads to street traffic for the special event that will be part of an episode of the Bachelorette.

For the show's taping Tuesday night, sections of Calhoun Street will remain closed for the next three days. Starting Tuesday at 1 p.m., traffic will be restricted from Church to Green Street. The concert will be held at the intersection of Lawrence and Calhoun streets. Bluffton Police will be out during filming, and they're urging those coming out to park away from the area. Parking will be available at the Cornerstone Church lot, on May River and Bluffton roads, and at Bluffton Town Hall. They also want folks to be aware that the town's noise ordinance has been extended for the taping.

"The concert should start around 10 p.m. and will continue until about 11:30, 12 a.m. So yes, it's an inconvenience, but ultimately, this is a good thing for Bluffton. It's good exposure. It's good for our businesses to allow something like this to occur. Most of the people are excited about it," said Joy Nelson, Bluffton Police Department.

Police are asking for everyone to be patient, whether you're coming out to be a part of the filming or just have to travel through the area, since they are expecting a large turnout for the concert Friday night.

All of the roads are expected to be reopened around noon on Wednesday.
