SEABROOK, SC (WTOC) -

The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office is searching for leads in a cold case shooting that took place in 2012.

Investigators say on April 10, 2012, 23-year-old Octavius Moultrie was hanging around in the area of 10 Fawnwood Lane at about 2 p.m., when two unknown black male suspects began shooting at him. Moultrie ran away from the scene, being chased by the suspects who continued to fire at him.

Officials say the suspects got away in a white SUV, and Moultrie was found a short time later in the woods, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Persons of interest were identified during the investigation, but charges have yet to me made.
