HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC (WTOC) -

We're only a couple of days away from getting things going in the 49th Edition of the RBC Heritage.

Most of the players were on the practice range and the course Tuesday to fine tune their game, and that included a couple with local ties.

Davis Love III is back for his 29th Heritage, and Beaufort’s Mark Anderson is in the field this year as well. Savannah’s Brian Harman is also back for his seventh tournament - his fifth as a professional. Harman is trying to get things going this year. He’s 38th in points with his best result coming back in January with a tied for third finish. We had a chance to catch up with the former Savannah Christian standout.

We asked him, "Where's the game right now?"

“I think it’s okay, you know, I gave Houston a try, I tried to get in Augusta but didn’t play well, played some really good golf at Bay Hill. It’s in there, it’s just a matter of getting it timed up and feeling good," Harman said.

"Everything has to come together at one time, right," we asked.

“Yes, it’s just a matter of time. Obviously, I’d love to have it happen this week. I’ve got a bunch of friends, a bunch of family out. I’d love to play the best golf I’ve ever played this week, but that’s not the way this game is sometimes. I’m confident I’ll play well, but you just never know.”

Harman goes off of number one at 11:50 a.m. Thursday. Mark Anderson goes off of number 10 at 8:50 a.m., and Davis Love III goes off of number one at 12:40 p.m.
