SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - A group of Savannah folks held a fundraiser Thursday for the annual MS Walk in honor of our own Don Logana.
MS awareness was one of the many causes Don raised money, often raising tens of thousands of dollars each year.
Thursday's event featured a silent auction, food and drinks, and raffle giveaways. It was all about raising awareness for multiple sclerosis and honoring Don.
"As soon as his sister was diagnosed with MS, he took on this campaign and he sort of raised the money, tens of thousands of dollars every year, and in his passing, we just couldn't let this go," said Tony Rahn, the event organizer.
They raised more than $2,000 at Thursday's event.
The walk will be May 6 at Daffin Park.
