GLENNVILLE, GA (WTOC) - Over 1,000 people gathered Thursday night for the annual Law Enforcement Appreciation Dinner in Glennville, GA.
Georgia Governor Nathan Deal was in attendance to say thank you to those employed in local, state, and federal law enforcement in Southeast Georgia.
"I think it's extremely important for all of us as citizens of Georgia to say thank you to those in law enforcement," said Gov. Deal.
The event marked the 30th year anniversary for the dinner started by Glennville businessman, Wayne Dasher, and sheriffs from across the region.
