Guards Suspended from Tattnall County Prison

At Rogers State Prison in Tattnall County, seven guards are out of work tonight, and in trouble. A correctional officer there accused several other guards of routinely attacking handcuffed inmates.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation looked into the allegations, and the state dismissed seven of the guards, but reinstated two others.

The GBI passed the information to prosecutors for possible action.

Rogers' warden, Glenn Rich, is still suspended with pay.
