TATTNALL CO., GA (WTOC) - Three people have been arrested on contraband charges at prisons in Tattnall County.
Food Service Manager Pamela Conner was arrested by the Tattnall County Sheriff's Office after finding on her four vacuum-sealed packages of marijuana weighing 272.6 grams on June 29 at Rogers State Prison.
On the same day, Food Service Supervisor Samantha Miller's vehicle was searched by a canine unit, which found signs of contraband. Miller admitted to the sheriff's office during an interview that she provided the contraband found on Conner.
Miller also admitted to bringing contraband into the facility on other occasions. Miller was arrested by the sheriff's office.
On July 1, a Georgia State Prison visitor was arrested for having contraband in her vehicle. After an initial search entering the parking lot by a canine unit, visitor Amber Lee Tucker's vehicle was searched to find 7.3 grams of methamphetamine, 3.1 grams of ecstasy pills and 3.7 grams of suspected cocaine. Tucker was arrested by the sheriff's office.
